Give it to me Raw

Could someone please explain about growing wheat grass. If you buy a kit in a box, is that purely for growing the grass itself to juice. Or if you let it grow longer, will it form wheat sprouts, or do you grow grass FROM sprouts !!! ? I totaly don't know ! Would appreciate some info. Thank you.

Red winter wheat seeds

tray of potting soil (organic) or a mix of 45% peat moss (or coconut choir) 45% compost, 10% perlite

soak seeds overnight (2 cups dry seeds per 2'x1' tray)

rinse seeds and let sit in a strainer with a wet towel over it all day and night until the next day, rinse two times.

sprinkle sprouting seeds over dirt and cover with inverted tray. Spray with mister daily, keep moist.

After a few days the grass will start growing, at this point remove the lid

use mister / sprayer for a few more days and then water from below. Water two times a day just to keep the roots wet or moist always.

Daylight but not in direct sun.

Harvest in the three day window that surrounds the first jointing of the grass which is when it splits and becomes two blades.

Very simple and enjoyable venture that makes me a better human and teaches me many a things about many a things -

Peace

I'm just growing my first batch and I watered them to much. Got mold. Just don't put in to much water. Moist, not wet...

Thanks for sharing your methods of opening these delicious, nutritious wonders. :-) This was an abnormally large organic pomegranate, but organic it was.

Well we are not early man. Sitting on the computer typeing isn't natural. Not sure what being natural has to do with working out. Jumping rope at a moderate pace seems okay for someone out of shape or for a warm up. If you want it to be an effect...

I find it's quicker to make four cuts, scaling the outer skin equally then pulling it away and thumping with a wooden spoon. Plus it's less of a mess and you don't lose any juice because none of the kernels are cut :) There are different varietie...
