It's not ideal but you can use your oven to dehydrate. Put it on the lowest setting and leave the door open a little. What we found works is to turn the oven off once it has got warm and then shut the door. It will stay warm for a while, then you can put the oven back on for a bit when it starts to cool down. If you find you like dehydrated food then it's probably worth getting a dehydrator. Personally I find dehydrated food hard to digest so I don't usually eat it.
