Hi! This has been a topic of concern- but has anyone gotten a really good reference for protein in the raw vegan diet? I know about certain foods that are high in protein but there is this idea that we need complete protein. I read Diet for a small planet - years ago when this was a concern- but what is the "bible" as far as this topic goes now?
Just eat the fresh fruits of the land raw. The top dawg is the harmony of ratios. I simply use celery and hemp seeds as the exception to a break-fast and loose concept and the rest of the day, fruit all unprocessed of course.
Not to start a new thread but what is a perfect bowel movement anyway. When you juice how is that producing the end results. The proof is in the putting it just right in and coming out just fine...
The end trails tell no lies.
Amino acids are critical to life, and have a variety of roles in metabolism. One particularly important function is as the building blocks of proteins, which are linear chains of amino acids. Every protein is chemically defined by this primary structure, its unique sequence of amino acid residues, which in turn define the three-dimensional structure of the protein. Just as the letters of the alphabet can be combined to form an almost endless variety of words, amino acids can be linked together in varying sequences to form a vast variety of proteins.
Your best bet is to have variety in your diet. It's tedious to keep track of which protein has xxx amounts of xxx amino. You can also check out this link. Some poster made up a custom order protein to fit a specific AA profile. Might be good reference.
i know chia and hemp have complete protein. spirulina is also. i believe it has higher protein than meat and is between 60 and 80 percent protein. they're even trying to use it in space missions.
A complete protien would be one that has a higher class amino acid profile(protiens are made out of a variety of amino acids)
Complete amino acids is a process supplement.
Essential aminos-your body doesn't make it
Non essential-your body makes it's own.
You can actually call up the head nutritionist here and they will talk to you on the phone and give you adivce free of charge, it would be interesting to hear what they have to say on this subject
I guess if you think of it as eating raw as what God intended, and makes us the purest version physically of what were meant to be, then maybe it is a way to get closer to God and clear away the distracting mess of sickness, and the hormone and em...
Here is Part 4 to the Stanley Bass interview. Many people have asked me what I think about this interview, I will be posting a video reply in my next episode after this one.
The sun (or bright snow, bright sky, light bulbs, etc.) totally make me sneeze. It seems to be genetic- my dad does it too. It's called "Photic Sneeze Reflex":
