Hmmm. . . . I was thinking about starting Jan. 1st, but participating in the Global Juice Feast would definitely help keep me motivated. So I might! We'll have to see! :-)

Sheryl,
I missed the boat on this for 2008 and as much as a juice feast during the coldest months of the year doesn't appeal to me, I am in if you're in:-)
Gil, I'm going to see if i can be BROKE and feast like a pro...pray for me i kinda doubt myself on this one... especially since i remember how much i spent on the last feast.
your a friggin pro now, i'm so excited your doing this..really really excited.
In addition to my greens i want to do mostly low sugar fruits on this feast. I'm not working so i can't do 100% organic. i'm stressed about the thought of consuming generic celery...more than anything else this is my major concern. I just can't do GMO celery.no no no no no no.
hey Sheryl! thank you SO MUCH for getting us all motivated here :) I am excited to have a group in NYC to do the global juice feast with, and an even bigger group on GI2MR, and of course the rest of the world. But seriously, we will have to have a few juice meet-ups during the January feast. I can't do the 92 day one cuz i will be in paris april and may, but I am all in for January, 30 days WOW!!!!!! WOWWY WOW!!! I am really excited. I am doing a 2 weeker starting saturday. i was not all raw this past month and feel ICKY and TOXIC! anywho, i will be raw over christmas (whoever doesnt like it can stick it, or stuff it LOL) and ready to feast with you in jan.
I wanted to tell you that I usually find that organic celery costs only pennies more than the generic celery, especially at whole foods. dont do generic celery, even if it costs 7 bucks per week more (a buck a day) to get the organic stuff, cuz celery sucks up all the badness in the generic crops. oh, and if you are looking for a seasonal job vanessa from gnosis is looking for people to help her with holiday orders so shoot her an email if you're interested.
love to you girlie!
thanks again, cant wait to feast with you in a few weeks :)
sub-acids are my favourite - but they bastards don't leave the tops on them and i can't plant them.... i must go to a sub-acid farm and steal some!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Your dog is sooo cute! I have a dog too and two cats, and I looove them! I feed them wheatgrass and they actually choose that before regular grass wich they normally chew on in the garden.
I decided to have a 50/50 raw/cooked meal at Vita last night, having had a desire for warm meals for last couple of weeks. They had a Vegan Paella, it was amazing but it's only the second time I have had grains for a year and I had headache soon a...
It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...
Yes, I believe two out of the four pineapples I've had the last several months have been alright with me, after having let them "ripen" for some days. The one that turned out the best was one I stored in a bag of ripening bananas. I did the same t...
