Wow! I am so excited. You truly a forward thinking person and I commend you on not being afraid to sacrifice the size of the community for the quality. :)
This is awesome brotha! It's all about quality. I definitely don't spend so much time or post much in the forums as I did when you first launched the site because I have been concerned with the confrontation. I wish you the best with your Sherpa program, sounds awesome and can't wait to see all the new wonderful vids!!!
Wow- I've been so busy with personal issues that I haven't been on GI2MR regularly for a few months. I'm glad I missed the trolling and negativity. I think GI2MR is the best raw online community site out there and totally support your efforts to keep it that way. It's amazing how the bad behavior of a few can drive positive people away- but I think we have a strong community who can overcome this kind of stuff. Yay!

I totally agree with you. I have been saying this lately on some of the negative conversations, we are a community and we have to put those windows back in, we have to clean things up and take people out who are more interested in throwing stones around than being positive. Community comes with a price. The points about replacing bad with good is excellent. Thoughts are the same way. We can't become more positive by trying to stop or cancel negative thoughts, we have to offer alternative thoughts in order to make that transition, and the same applies to online and real communities, as you said. I am very new to this website so I am far too inexperienced to try and be a Sherpa, but perhaps in a few years and with some real progress in the raw food lifestyle I might bring something to a role like that. For now though, I know there are many great people here that are qualified and positive and I think this is a great idea! Thank you for taking a stand on this!
As for people being unkind in the virtual world... well, you know... people can be that way on and offline. Online is somehow 'easier' for people to be rude and feel they can get away with it. They'd probably be that way more often in the 'real' world if they felt they could get away with it in that same way. There are some funny buzz terms in the high tech industry for that.
We're all on The Path but at different stages, and EGO is an odd beast. And hurt/wounds cause folks to hurt back or act out in ways that aren't really true to their nature. I think just take the negative folks off. wave them good-bye and forget about it. Trolls. Yes. Who needs 'em? There is enough bad vibe in the world as it is, and they've got work to do. I wouldn't feel bad about it. There is too much need for goodness in the world and all that does is drag you/us down. It isn't your/our responsibility to help them through their stuff. I'm not being harsh (at all) I'm just being protective. Healthy protection is a good thing. No need to carry that burden.
KEEP THE VIBRATIONS HIGH!
Quality over quantity is the way to go. YES. Keep the great members and let the others find somewhere else to work out their stuff.
it was great to see this after hearing you talk about it today...some of that negative energy has prevented me from posting as often as i would like, because it can just be energy draining to see some really well intentioned posts turn into arguments instead of sharing. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the positive changes that occur on here in the coming months.
I think this is a great idea, there is always room for mentors. I will be first to stand in line to ask the sherpas questions. Even when I think I have answers to questions I will ask a person what their answers would be. We have to be open and loving in our interactions.
I love GI2MR, I have discovered and learned so much through this site, not to mention the site is much easier to navigate than most simple format blogs of any genre.

Hi Dhru,
Enjoyed listening to your video - I'm glad you've raised the issues/topics that you have. I really enjoy being part of this community and have met some absolutely amazing people here and am so grateful for that. You're spot on about the staying raw/having community issue and this site has in part provided that for me. There is lots of positive energy here which is really cool though I have noticed the odd non-supportive comment here and there which can be a bit disheartening - so I feel it would be well worthwhile maintaining the integrity of the site in the way(s) you suggest - quality over quantity for sure etc. Have a safe flight home.
Namaste,
Alex
Great job Dhru, you are doing a lot for the raw community. Don't let the trolls give you and us a hard time. You are our first sherpa.
Take care and best wishes
Nelly

LOVE IT, Greengoddess! You tell those demons! I am actually enjoying getting to know them. They are not that bad if you just give em' a little attention and acknowledgment. They seem to be getting ready to leave.....at ANY moment now. I am startin...
I'm new to this lifestyle, and I'm enjoying the benefits of it thus far, both mental and physical...the spiritual will follow i'm sure. Anyway, I've been in a relationship for 4 years now and now that i'm ready for a massive change for the positiv...
The Wire is a good one.
Am I the only one who got into Rome? I really enjoyed that series.
Six Feet Under was great too. HBO puts out some really good television I think.

eating fruit (or anything else) would not allow the body to go into the fasting state
Yeah, cuz Bear ain't worried about trying to survive. He's surrounded by a full film crew and sleeps at the Ramada or the Hilton at night. It's easy to make jokes when you're not worried about dying.
Not saying his show ain't entertaining, but do...
I love it cause it is an intense workout over a short period of time. My son had a "jump rope for heart" week at school that got me into it. It uses different muscles than running and also improves coordination a lot, and I was surprised how well ...
Survivorman is crazier, did you see that episode in the desert when he started talking to birds? But I still like Grylls better overall. I feel like there is more of a point in watching the show, you feel like you're learning something, lots of tr...
