Much love to all the supportive folks on the site. I appreciate you deeply for everything you stand for.

More info on the GI2MR Sherpa's Program coming this Wednesday!

With Purpose,
Dhrumil

p.s. Throw your thoughts into the mix. Would love to hear what you feel about all this.

Wendi, you are exactly the type of person that I'd like to see more of on here and your statement is a pure testament to the challenges that communities face when they grow.

Looking forward to creating a compelling reason for you to spend more time here! ; )

wonderful vid! Wisdom!
I know that negative energy creates negative energy and you are right if you were to pull out the trolls that is negative so i think its a great idea about having a support type group! ie throwing in positive vibes! I am all for this!
POSITIVITY GALORE ..thank you Dhrumil (:

Frankly the reason I have a hard time staying on this site is, although I love the community when it is positive and I have met many very supportive people through it, the negative energy is a real drag.

I like the shout out to broken windows theory--I'm fond of it myself and your point that you can't just remove, you have to add, is well taken. Your sherpa concept sounds like a great idea!

This talk was very inspiring in terms of raw food too--thanks, it's kind of what I needed to hear right now in terms of diet.

Wow, I signed up here and then had a lot of stuff going on and didn't make it back until now, and I'm thinking there was a reason why... Sorry there was drama, and glad I missed it.
Onward!

I'm new to this site, but not to raw foods. I used to think that I would find it easier to connect with other raw-foodists because it's such a rare thing to have in common with someone. But it seems to me that there is just as much drama, gossip and emotional immaturity as there is with any other group of people. Somebody pointed out to me that people new to the raw foods lifestyle are still detoxing and working out their issues. So this is something we all should be aware of. I used to work for a man that was raw for less than a year. He was an emothional wreck and impossible to be around. Even though he was living the lifestyle, he treated everyone around him like shit. I'd rather be around meat eaters and potheads then people like that! At least they aren't being hypocrites. Anyway, I'm not saying you shouldn't clean up the community. It sounds like your intention is to do what's best for everyone.

Great idea, Dhrumil.

Please consider having one of the Sherpas focus on info for people who are new to raw.

As I mentioned elsewhere, the first two times I tried to go raw I didn't realize that I needed to eat much more bulk at least at the beginning. For that reason alone, I just couldn't stick it out.

Perhaps someone could focus on that and other issues facing those who are making the transition.

Peter, this is a fantastic suggestion. I'm certainly going to make this happen.

"The Beginners Sherpa!"

I love it. Thank you.

this seems to be a resonant theme in many communities as we attempt to raise the vibration and remain in integrity as our collective body grows. i am hearing so strongly the lesson of saying no in a way that is without resistance. In actuality we are saying yes strongly and firmly to that which we intend, a supportive, nurturing community platform. it has taken me a long time in my own path of stewardship to find that very unique resonate "no." The "no" that enables expansion, freedom and joy. The "no" that creates no point of resistance. it is a statement of Truth, and a release into love.
Those of us who are community platform holders, weavers, visionary, are learning this vital lesson as we continue to align and re-align in service of the highest vibration of the collective we steward. it is wonderful to feel how much clarity is in the message. i am excited about the increase in the positive energies. i was inspired to hear about the community vision and of the value of support, the value of honoring separate beliefs without contesting or enforcing, i love hearing of the value of connection..............i invite more focus toward all we are saying yes to while honoring the importance of the "no."
thank you so much your beauty is palpable on all levels

I agree. Down with the trolls!

Well said! That's why I leave many raw food forums because of others bullying around that it's their way or the highway and acting like they know it all. Plus it gets really clicky and it feels like high school all over again. There are many ways to approach eating raw foods and I like to keep the possibilities open for newbies so that they are excited about making changes and most importantly feel encouragement and support from the community in their new endeavors. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the details in regards to the sherpas. I love just saying 'sherpa', has a nice sound. ;-)

It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...
