Give it to me Raw

Just went through a bad period of corn chips and chocolate in the afternoons and I'm looking for a good 100% raw day. For the best kick-start, should I do green smoothies and greens all day, mostly fruit? Also anyone with some good tips for not reaching for the garbage in the middle of the afternoon? It's a bad habit that just needs to change.

My best tip is to make sure you get your greens. If I have a green smoothie or a huge salad, early in the day, I don't get the cravings. Otherwise I'm grazing all day when I'm not really hungry, sometimes eating non-raw junk and then feeling TERRIBLE. I think this has something to do with being underfed nutritionally. Once you get your greens, your boby's been "fed" and will kill the cravings. I know when I start to get into that ravenous mood, I force myslef to eat a salad and that usually does it.

I finish every day with a great salad and start each day with 64 oz. of green smoothie. I fall apart from 2:30-5pm typically--bad habit and as you say-i'm really not even hungry. I'll even overeat raw dehydrated foods. I'm trying the fruit 'til dinner method, still adding those greens in the am smoothie. Raging migraine last night and for 13 hours, but i notice that happens often the first day I don't have the non-raw junk then i'm good to go. Thanks for the tips!

Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.

I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.

Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
