How do you guys attain flexibility? What different exercises do you practise to attain physical flexibility?
Any special Yoga postures? How much time do you spend on flexibility exercises out of total exercise time?
Thank you Az'ya, Spencer, Bill and Lisa for wonderful information. I have not yet seen Yoga swing, but would check it out. There's a whole world out there for Yoga and Tibetan Rites, it seems.
My understanding is that the ones Dr. C is offering are on the high-end - around $350 for the swing (I understand they will be offered soon on earthshiftproject.net). Then if you want the frame (which is pretty cool!) it's a similar amount again... There are a number of people building these I've seen other brands online starting around $150... I'm sure there's a difference in quality and features though. The high end ones have extra handles and swivels and this and that, which I'm sure make it a easier to use for a larger number of exercises.
Thanks for introducing me to Yoga swing. I liked the youtube video you suggested. Anti-gravity is a good concept. Head Stand in Yoga works with the same anit-gravity concept.
It seems to me though, there is a significant difference between a headstand and doing inverted postures on a yoga swing. With a headstand, there is still compaction of the spinal column, since you are supporting your body's weight with your head and spine... But with the swing, there is no pressure whatsoever compacting the spine, so the spine can elongate.
Vow! I never thought about spinal compaction problem with headstand posture in Yoga. I perform head stand many times, but all the time, I have a fear of neck twisting.or neck-injury. With Yoga swing, I can easily understand that it won't have any of these problems. The main object is to elongate and flex spine without any damage to neck or spine.
Thank you, Az'ya. You are miles ahead than myself.
I would hesitate to agree that headstands would cause problems, as long as they're done correctly... after all, yoga has been around for quite a long time... :) However, saying that, I'd love one of those swings! I was literally craving being on one while watching the video!
ripped and beautiful :) it may just be me but being so stong, especially in that area, rises the idea in your head of power and that you will soon be sprouting wings.. :)
I've watched that. It is so weird that they have that show on. I also watched the old v's. They are a trip- with 80s hair and the spacesuit type outfits they wear. If you look at how small our planet is compared to others like Niburu- you can see ...
I'm on a computer in the library right now (as I was on Thursday), so any posts may be a little short. I was a little stressed by the reapplication information about the CAB because I had the same issues with finding paid work to fit around it bef...
Thanks for checking this out Vamp. It is truly amazing if you can be open minded enough to watch the video. People act like we haven't invented space travel. If you can accept that- then how hard would it be to accept jumping onto a planet that is...
starting to plan for this now ! right in the midlle of holidays !
i'm thinking about doing a week, but may extend with blended foods depending on how much detox I experience. Can't get the 'flu' just yet.
thanks....so grateful & dave is the best !...
Hi El-bo,
You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.
