Awesome, thanks for putting all of this into one place...:)

I'm looking for a good and affordable young coconut supplier in the UK who will deliver to the South East, anyone??
Wholesaler would be even better, I would order loads anyways.

I checked out Orkos already http://www.orkos.com/home_EN.php
and it looks amazing but it's all way too expensive unfortunately...:(

have you tried going to Indian, Middle Eastern and Chinese food shops? I used to buy crates of young coconuts from a local Indian shop in Bolton. Just go to the Asian area of town and go to the shops all the locals are in and ask, they will be able to tell you if they can pick up a few crates when they go to their wholesalers. Also you can go to the wholesale market yourself, I also used to do this when I lived in Liverpool. The council should have a list of fruit and flower wholesalers on the council websites and anyone can go down there and buy stuff, you don't need to be a trader, just take cash and some boot space in your car! The one I went to was open every day from 2am till 4pm. The bargains we got, the savings we made were incredible, we ate so well ;0

Check with the food importers who supply the stores and restaurants and distributors. That way you may be able to buy cases for less than half what you pay in the stores.
Or, a raw restaurant may also sell you cases at a big discount if you order and pay before they make their order to get their own delivery from the distributor.

My partner runs this one www.vibrationalgaiarising.com mostly herbs but some raw foods all organic or wild crafted and sulfite free, all products from south america where workers and indigenous people are paid many times over fair trade wage not just fair trade which means absolutely nothing and is a bit of a scam in general

I used to run Purely Raw, we don't operate in the UK any more, Chris has taken it all on the road in the USA. He is doing a Raw Food tour at the moment in the USA. Check it out here, it is sooo cool http://purelyraw.com/tour.htm
So don't ring that number you've got listed up there wanting a raw food delivery, sorry we stopped doing that last year, it was great while it lasted though, and the recipes for most of the food we made are on our website for free - www.purelyraw.com all very cheap, quick easy and tasty to make.

This is an excellent list, but I do feel for those living in the Midlands and North of England.

All these sources are in London and the South. Seems North of Watford you're stuffed, basically :-) (Especially now Zoe and Chris of Purely Raw are no longer based there.)

Suggest anyone who lives in Northern England contact Rob - there must be the odd raw-friendly vegan cafe up there. Surely? No?

ummm no actually there is bugger all up here in the North. Well, ok in Manchester there's the Eigth Day which sells some raw food things and does nice juices in their cafe. And there is the Unicorn co -op where you can get very cheap organic fruit and veg.
I used to live in Liverpool - nothing there, then I moved to Manchester - nothing there, now I live in Nottinghamshire - absolutely nothing here, not even anywhere I can get good organic food apart from tescos etc. It is a shame because I know Nottingham is full of vegans but all animal rights cooked chips and beans vegans, not vegan for health and vitality...for example I can go and get a vegan cooked full english breakfast for £2 ( revolting ) at the Sumac center (eco and animal liberation activist place) and a cooked vegan dinner for £3 ( pasta bake etc yukky) there when they do their food nights but there is no energy/interest/knowledge for raw food. I talked to them about it and they looked at me like I had just stepped off a spaceship from Mars, seriously! I'd better get onto it hadn't I ?! DiY and all that ;)

There was a raw cafe called Red Sugar in Edinburgh, I haven't seen or heard of them for ages, I hope they are still going because they were doing really great things. Like amazing raw cakes, desserts, superfood smoothies, juice, cold pressed coffee, all the things you'd get in somewhere like Brighton. Does anyone know if they are still up and running?

Their website comes up all black.
What could that mean?
Closed? Open? Malfunctioning site?

All almonds sold in California are treated with a gaz or a chemical, in both cases the almond does not sprout, it is hence dead.
