Give it to me Raw

I've tried a durian smoothie, dried durian, young coconuts, but have never experienced straight fresh durian. Which do you like better, durian or young coconuts, and why? :)

I love young green coconuts in preference to Durian..and I like the goodness that comes from these coconuts..the juice is meant to have similar constituents to our blood plasma! (:

durian & young thai coco water smoothie - If I had to choose, durian for sure.

i loooooove both, but if I had to choose to eat one straight, durian. Lately when I get it I have to eat it fast and hidden away in my room like a junkie with the windows open.... I'm trying to sell my house and although I no longer can detect an odor, I'm terrified of scaring away potential buyers, that have no clue what it is. I long for the day I can sit back and enjoy my durian without anxiety!

lol chicory! So is an Asian store the only way to get durian? I haven't got one that close to me and a source of durian would rock.

That's a tough choice. I'd say I like durian more. But I like Jackfruit better than durian.

I ADORE Jakfruit! I am so lucky to have a fresh one, right now! Have you noticed that they smell just a little bit like durian - in a good way - when they're ripe? Mmmm...

Yes. They have quite a strong smell. Not quite like Durian to me though. The smell of Jackfruit is generally less repulsive compared to Durian.

That's a tough choice! For me, fresh durian is meant for pure indulgence, while the flesh of young coconut feels more nourishing....

But flavor-wise, it would have to be durian.

Fortunately, there is absolutely no need to choose. They are both great, divine foods and should both be eaten whenever you have the opportunity! Durian is highly nutritious, and it's also very rich so I am easily satisfied with a few pods at a time, likely due to the fat content. Young coco meat is is just as luscious in a much lighter way. I love both!

Definately durian. It is sweet and creamy and it does give you a rush, kind of in the same way as chocolate.

I like young coconut too but durian is more of an indulgence.

both imported durian and thai coconuts are full of chems and irradiated as a bonus. tree of life banned the young coconuts i think.

this is durian..:)

Nice video!!!!! I am familiar with the USDA's inspections. They do things like fumigations, fungicides and irradiation. If they are irradiated I don't even consider them raw any more.

Yes, the young Thai coconuts have been banned from places focused on healing with foods. I think the tree of life gets some of their coconuts from Mexico now.
