Give it to me Raw

i use an excaliber to make some really nice crackers using carrots and courgettes and flaxseeds, ive tried different variations. i successfully dried my fiorst batch of apples too which were delicious.

unfortunately i cant eat them without becoming really bloated, constipated and painful abdomen.

how can i overcome this??

Have you tried digestive enzymes?




it also may just take a while for your body to get used to dried food.

would adding pineapple and papaya to the diet be enough? or will supplements be more effective??

sure food idea try those first in small amounts !! And try to drink 64 oz of fluids a day.. Aloe juice may help too!

Dried sweet fruits is a high sugar content food and if your body is not used to it you will have the reactions you're getting. I'd suggest (if you'd like to have this in your diet) to add a little more in every day. Sugar is, just as meat or dairy, poisonous. Once you get of it you have to readjust to get on it again (even thou it's raw). I'm not saying you shouldn't have sweet treats, I have it in my diet. It's just info

the dietry rules ive been following are the ph miracle/alkaline ones. some fruits are alkalizng so i just stick to those ones, although lists do differ over what is alkalizing lol can get a bit confusing lol

i hear what you say about the high sugar content though, i have to monitor blood sugar levels so im aware of there effect

I know these lists differ some thou I usually follow the simple words of dr. Young; sugar is sugar to the body.

I have a severe sugar addiction that I have not adressed fully - yet. So I eat sugary fruits still, and dried fruit as well... thou I now it's not the best, it's so much better than what I used to eat. :)

drink LOTS of water when you eat dried foods -- especially dried nuts and seeds.

i had noticed that by soaking my almonds and sunflower seeds that i dont get as much pain. im increasing my fluids now as we speak.

I spent a good year playing with all that dried stuff. I never felt great on it. I think steamed veggies are much much better for the body.

i still eat steamed veggies some days. i just get cant get used to eating raw broccoli or kale. yet they taste divine in a smoothie lol
