If so would you even admit it? What a weird concept! But there are a lot of health benefits from it. Have you used it in other ways (ie. instead of shampoo etc).
And the even bigger question: if you have, have you noticed any health benefits from it?
Since we're all into health (and we're on the internet) I don't think it's going to be a big deal to divulge. ;)
Personally I haven't gotten into this yet. Have you?
"In homeopathy, a patient is given a small dose of a poison that would cause similar symptoms to the ones he is suffering from. The body will recognise the poison and react against them and fights the disease.
We have the same process with urine. By re-ingesting a minute dose of your own poison, you are going to force the body to fight against something it does not like. We can therefore see that even if some toxin are present in your urine, you will still benefit."
An experienced juice feaster and colon therapist recommended urine therapy to me topically for my then skin ailments (ezcema, psoriasis, leaky gut syndrome, etc).
She recommended upon the 1st morning urine, to urinate for 3 seconds and then catch the rest after that. Then use a cottonball and apply the urine topically to skin infections. It was too hard for me to remember to do it first thing in the morning. She said a lot of people would heal their skin irritations 50% faster this way, including herself. Because, the urine that leaves the body isn't toxic, but is an elixir made for your specific body to heal things.
Do you remember that "Friends" episode where Joey had to pee on Monica's snake bite to save her life? So, urine's not such a bad guy. It's just really unknown, and taboo even in the raw world lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhE8Qk7eXUg
why ingest what your body is purposely getting rid of? seems counterintuitive at best, and if you're toxin-laden, then you're doing way more harm than good by reintroducing yourself to those same toxins.
and the real logic behind why this is faulty thinking is that there is no way to extend the thought process of re-ingesting waste any further without inducing thoughts of extreme disgust. our mouths and waste exits are on opposite ends i imagine for a reason.
Hi Loren. Thanks for that info. I often hear Naturopaths comment on how children with autism are often lacking in sodium and reccomend increasing their salt intake. I have a son on the autism spectrum and he craves salt. He drinks green smoothies ...

Hi Nicole,
We don't need any salt at all, and in fact it's always toxic to the body. Salt is a rock, and no matter how small we smash it, it is an inorganic mineral which our bodies cannot really use. Organic sodium is needed by ever single cell ...
