Give it to me Raw

http://www.oneradionetwork.com/health_-_podcasts/dr._david_jubb/dr_...

Did anyone listen to this ? I thought it was great. For me it was a cross between comedy and mindblowing knowledge, Jubb is such a laugh and his knowledge always expands my mind and thinking.

Adrenal burnout, minerals, probiotics, Galactic currents, water from outer space lol, this interview has it all.

If you listen then let me know what you think about Jubb in general and also his info in this audio.

Also has anyone experimented with his super probiotic discussed here?

Ha ha!
Thanks for this Paddy,

I haven't listened yet, but I know I'll love it, I always do, glad he is in good form.
I finally got to listen,

great stuff, I like what he said about the minerals in health shops being serious pharmaceutical poison that causes cancer, I've been saying this for ages, I'm suspicious that so many supplements 70% are owned by pharmaceutical companies when I put this forward on another forum I got told I was part of the conspiracy of the illuminati whaaat!!!!!

Also interesting what he says about the gut making its own nutrients when the flora is right, I've alway believed this, I think it may be why some people can do better on more restrictive raw diets than others.
I didn't fully integrate the information on his probiotic, could you explain a bit more about what he said about Paddy.

I know I'm mineral deficient despite fairly good raw diet, although it isn't as good as it has been in the past and I like what he said about to absorb minerals you need fulvic/humic which I have been thinking for a while about doing those and that angstroms were bulldust, that do absolutely nothing.
I love Patrick Timpone and this Jubb interview was awesome!
Yeah this was one of the concerns I had with Jubb. He said he was breatharain and I read online that during this period people saw him eat cheescake amongst other things lol. There was someone on here(GITMR) too who worked with him at Jubbs longevity and he said he smoked and did other less than healthy things which arent coming back to me at this moment. Maybe this person will chime in on this thread and remind me.

Yeah I think David Wolfe got/gets a lot of his info from Jubb, I think Jubb was talking about calcification years before David Wolfe brought out the SITS programme. I think Jubb was one of the first to coin the term superfood and create superfood smoothies, things like tocotrenials and bee pollen and spirulina, he has recipes like this in 'Life Food Recipe Book' which has been around for a while. Also I think he was one of the first to intodroduce irish moss to the raw food world.

So yeah VERY interesting fellow, I particularly love his info on herbs and there effects on the body.

Yes cacao, VERY interesting too. Thats a whole different conversation though lol. Have you listened to David Favor before?

I remember in another interview Jubb was asked about Cacao and he said it had some less than desirable substances in it that gathered in the body over time.
Yes, true it is great that anyone is getting the info out there.

I will have a look at his videos, I have seen parts of a few already, some on body language and how it relates to consciousness, very interesting.

The herbs, well I was mostly referring to his books and past interviews, I think I have listened to every interivew he has done lol, I have all his books too. In other interviews on the Best Day Ever he talkS a bit about wild herbs like hawthorn, it is really rare bits of information he comes out with which always impresses me. What he knows about honey too was really interesting for me to hear.
My friend was a meber of BDE and she kindly she shared her password with me and I devoured pretty much every piece of info on there. I am really grateful to my friend for this as I learned a lot from this site. He has 3 or 4 interviews on here.
hey sorry, any chance you can give details on the hawthorne? we have it growing here; i was just down with a foraging guy for a few days and he said you can use the leaves, but i didnt get much detail. ...
trying to use whatever i can locally because food is not fresh nor cheap here if you buy it in the shops
thanks

kaybee
Yes hawthorn grows here in Scotland too, in abundance. It is all over just now, I see it everywhere, those beautiful white flowers.

What I do with it is put the flowers in smoothies and I eat the young tender leaves straight from the tree and the berries too when they appear. Watch out with the though as they have a pretty large stone inside. Also they taste pretty bland, I eat them for effect mostly instead of flavour.

Hawthorn is traditionally associated with the heart.

It was in another Jubb interview that I heard him talk of hawthorn. If I am remembering corrrectly he said that there was a tribe of indians called Aboronde sp? ,I think this was the name, which translates as 'tree eaters' because they ate large amounts of tree barks and leaves. Hawthorn was one of there food sources.
Found the name of the tribe, it is Adirondack, close enough :)

It is generally accepted that the word Adirondack is derived from the Mohawk Indian word atir:taks, literally meaning tree eaters. The acute accent indicates that the stress is on that syllable; the colon marks a preceding long vowel. Because there was no written Mohawk language when the name originated, probably in the late 1500s, various phonetic spellings of the word have been used.
Your welcome. Yeah what a story he has lol.

On the cacao - I think there's a good reason it's called the food of the *Gods* (Theobroma is Greek for food of the Gods)... it may not be suitable for ordinary humans :) I feel it is an alchemical food and it's effects are a matter of individual consciousness, as is true with anything really.

David Favors views on cacao are pretty similar to this, I think you will enjoy his audios, He has mentioned before about the conciousenss of cacao and how it very particular and can be other than desirable for some people. He said it was much like nightshades and how they are frowned upon in the macrobiotic community becasue they have a hot spicy energy which creates hot spicy personalities, a no no for macrobiotic communites.

And yes I love Wolfe too, very open and loving, to me anyway. I have only listened to his audios, many of them lol, and I am basing my thoughts on these as this is how he communicated himself to me in these.
