I think I like the food face or maybe a cross between 1 and 3 (stubble/ slightly grown out hair). I did give him such a hard time about that beard!

Did you go to a reliable restaurant? Not all restaurants know how to properly handle fish. Most are frozen,thawed & refreeze what wasn't use. Can also be both. Maybe since you haven't had it in a while you body responded in a certain way.
