The ultimate juicing experience involves juicing an 'organic' pineapple in its entirety...skin, core, & flesh. The core contains a concentration of bromelain. The skin adds more pineapple essence (taste) & creamy froth to the mix.
Yeah I would be worried about hurting the juicer but if you have a really good one that's great. Hydraulic press ones also seem like they would be great but really they wouldn't get much out of skin. Bromelain is so important in anti-inflammatory additions to the diet so it is nice to get as much out as possible. The fact tha they are so high in sugar is a concern though for people who are trying to heal from autoimmune related diseases. In that case a supplement of bromelain would be optimal.
i like sub-acid sweet pineapples. but the losers have like a patent on the 'head' - so u can never buy them with the heads on. i love planting pineapple heads though.
just to be 100% clear...if by stems, you mean, the crown or head; i have other than ever heard of anyone juicing this part of the pineapple. Of course, this part can be planted for growing more pineapples.

David Jubb says that aloe skin has many more nutrients than the inner fillet. He says it has tons of vitamin c. I guess pineapple stems are quite nutritious as well.

Hi family.
I've been eating 100% raw for the past 40 days. Before that, I was about 70% raw for a few years, and I struggled with bulimia (purging the cooked food that I ate).
No purging, no cooked food for 40 days. My cheeks are slightly puffy ...
im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.
I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....
The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while, also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.
