Give it to me Raw

OK. so I had a borders gift card for Christmas (of 07' heh)

and I just got around to using it in Janurary. Borders notoriously has a poor slection of the kind of books I generally like to buy. So I ordered a very expensive kundalini manual. turns out 3 1/2 months after I ordered,.I finally figured out it will never ship and called them up which they conceded. so now i have a $25 credit. I don't want to go over this credit as I think this company is really mediocre. So i am looking to buy probably 1 book or possibly 2 small soft-covers.

anyway..I just searched for 5 books I'd actually like to read and it carries 0 of them. not to mention they don't sell used books (I try not to buy new things ever)

EDIT: turns out they DO have used books So I am ordering a couple of these right now!

anyone know of any more mainstream books that have come out in recent years that are MUST haves?

Usually I only buy non-fiction or something that has alot of great re-read or reference value...like graphic novels or picture books.

No raw food books

I'm going to assume this was specifically targeted towards me; I am touched...I love Goldsworthy. but this second book looks perfect.

Lol yeah it was. I typed this quickly as I had quite a few other things to do on the computer yesterday.
Let me know what you think of 'A Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe: Mathematical Archetypes of Nature, Art, and Science' when you read it.

I have a $25 kundalini manual as well.

The Lost Language of Plants (Stephen Harrod Buhner)
Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates or Jitterbug Perfume (Tom Robbins)
Assuming you have read The China Study, then Mad Cowboy: Plain Truth from a Cattle Rancher Who Won't Eat Meat (Howard Lyman)

In NYC, petite models are pretty hard to book, because there are so few! I know one, Miss Asian America and she's constantly busy doing commercials! Shorties are goodies lol

Oh my word. was it a specific denomination? I am a Christian but I never experienced anything quite like that. How did it make you feel about God?

Unfortunately, my dogs were microchipped before I got them. I haven't decided what to do about it yet. Really don't want them to have surgery to take them out.
