Brilliant things. Had some for breakfast this morning. Goji berries are all well and good, and I have them from time to time, but the carbon footprint is huge.

good point man! I rarely eat goji berries, I just go blueberry picking in the summer and in the winter I buy the bags of frozen wild blueberries. pure bliss

I love goji berries and would love to try growing some someday as I have never had fresh ones but aside from everything mentioned, I also worry about the footprint on my wallet...LOL. Blueberries, blackberries, and many other berries are in large supply in the northeast U.S. U can even find them still growing wild. Even the organic store ones are cheaper than gojis.

Goji berries will grow anywhere Gil! Isnt that great news. They are an adaptogen species which means they can a adapt to any environment. That is why they have been shown to create equilibrium in the body :)

Good to know. I have heard of a few people who have success with gojis in the US. I would definitely like to have my own patch someday;-) Thanks.

Blueberries unlike most fruit actually are acidic, but I don't care because I have such an alkaline load of fruit anyway. If blueberries make your mouth blue you better send me some.
