I'm glad to know that you're happy with the Blendtec! Don't forget to put your name on the list so you can get the BPA-free container when they're in stock.

I've never tried the Blendtec. I love my Vitamix though, so I personally recommend a vitamix

I went with the vitamix for the 7 year warranty and the plunge capability.

I'm happy with my Vitaprep. It's got 3 HP. The sucka can pretty much blend anything.

What's the Vitaprep? Is this different than the vitamix?

It's just the industrial version of the Vitamix.

The new BlendTec BPA-free containers are in stock in my store, at
http://store.therawdiet.com/blendtechp3a.html

Only the black color has the BPA-free containers this month. In July, the other colors will be shipping with the new containers. The BPA-Free containers are available to purchase separately

I had a hard time choosing too.. in the end all the electronic stuff on the blendtec scared me away. I like the simplicity of the vitamix, got mine a week ago and looving it:)

I own a Blendtec and I own a Vita-Mix.

I love them both - either one would be a great investment. My Vita-mix is the green smoothie workhorse and blends frozen and solid stuff while the Blendtec makes most of our dressings, puddings and non-green smoothie drinks.
