I love Green For Life, and would recomend it for inspiration on getting more greens into us. Always having variety: salads, juices and blends are my baseline to feeling great. Victoria's book is a wonderful resource for any raw library. Sarma mentions how it inspired her in a blog entry Finding Clarity In The Blender:The Green Shake.
I love Green For Life and recommend it in my own book and to most of my clients. It's a great book even if you are not raw, because it helps everyday people incorporate more greens into their lives and gives the science behind why that makes so much sense. I've found that people who drink green smoothies start to crave healthier foods. Victoria IS a sweetheart, and she revolutionized the raw movement with that book. IMO, two things have catapulted raw into more mainstream consciousness: Green for Life (and the green smoothies she recommends) and raw cacao. Like it or not, the raw movement seriously shifted with green smoothies and chocolate. There are the pre-cacao, pre-green smoothie days, and the post-ones. Personally, I love how things have opened up. :)
I agree Green for life is one of the best because it is sooooo life enhancing when you get on the green smoothies. I am looking forward to her next book called the Green Smoothie Revolution coming mid summer. I saw it on amazon.
