Bentonite and Psyllium- Colon cleansing
Hey
I've spent the past two 2 years being unconsciously seduced by the dogma that bentonite and psyllium colon cleanses are the best for removing that age-old mucus plaque, along with other unpleasant inhabitants and strange build-up in the intestines. I've tried a colonic, but sense I'll need to have an entire series in order to achieve this same goal.
Are there any other more effective ways to cleanse the colon, particularely the mucoid plaque that is tough to remove?
I havn't been able to stick to any colon cleanse plan for longer than a week... I never felt convinced it was doing much, but I feel in my body this is something I need to do.

I have done about 4 of these cleanses..bentonite clay & pysllium husks with arise and Shine herbs and i have had amaazzzing results ! And thats why i do them..infact im doing another one right now..i am on day 3 aaargh. but I have found that a week at a time is enough for me...as I need to take that time off work and rest..and i stay at with my friend/colleagues house for the support and motivation a nd do some emotional healing at the same time. each time i have done this I have shifted loads of negative stuff and it has allowed me to move in such a positive way in my life(:
I recommend doing any sort of mucoid plaque cleansing with a group or friend as the support is really helpful. The 1st one i did was with a group of 6 folk in a lovely cottage in Wales run by peter Hinde see website below
The only thing about bentonite is not to do it for too long as it absorbs 10 x its own body weight in fluids and some minerals too.

I'm really familiar with the bentonite/psyllium cleanse. I tried Arise and Shine, but my fave is from Blessed Herbs. I've done it several times and the plaque starts coming out on the second day of the fast. I eliminate about 2 ft. per day.The whole cleanse is less than a week (you do have to fast).
Everything about this kit is so convenient- they have the psyllium/bentonite in packets so there's no measuring and they include a glass shaker jar. It's also a little cheaper than some and you can tell you're eliminating mucus- you'll know it when you see it, LOL!

with arise & shine herbs i start passing mucoid on the 2nd day too, just as Erin says...i get about 2 foot at least! per day.... if you live in the uk...and contact the guy i mentioned he sells the herbs very cheap! i just stick to 1 raw meal a day and 2 green juices with minerals per day along with 4 bentonite clay shakes...and the capsules are taken 5 x day...it really gets results... i wish i could post you some pics i have taken ...LOL....
but ill stop here...im sure you ve seen loads of them!!!(:

If you put psyllium in a glass of water, guess what happens? It turns into a big hunk of jelly shaped like the glass you put it in. Same thing happens when you drink it down and then evacuate it with a colonic. Those big ropes of 'toxins' are just the psyllium seed powder.
I drank those psyllium/bentonite things for a few days once. Yuck. At this point, I've decided to let my body do the cleansing, and I'll just try to stay out of the way.

A food log is a great idea! I hope that you can isolate the cause. They didn't hurt or itch or anything like that, but they didn't look right. At first I thought it was skin cancer or something!

Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.

I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
