I am not sure if there is a post about this already, but I found an old one of me, and I thought I would share. I was inspired by Dhru's featured photos on the front page :-)

Congrats, Tracy! (and thank you!)
I was actually 50% raw in the above picture for about a year (but still a meat eater and also an eater of various other things that I probably shouldn't have been).
And the pic with Viktoras was me at the 100% mark for almost 4 years (I cannot believe I have been this strict for this long).
You'll get there, and once you notice all of the wonderful changes, you'll stay motivated to continue it ad infinitum. Let us know how you do!

Thanks so much! I love irony and strange juxtapositioning, and your comments about the perscription bottle and bread were spot on. hahaha. And even more on the irony and juxtaposition part - I am eating organic blackberries in the picture. te-he.

Amazing transformation, rawgreengoddess. Wow!
Does it almost seem like another world? Or you were another person that just didn't have the same relationship to who you are now? I often think of this path and what I could have been missing out on had I not picked up that enzyme article so many years ago. I feel blessed :-)
thanks Ian :)
yes it is another world its amazing...the day i went to raw foods 6 years ago,was the start of a new life, a whole new me(quite literally too..)we are very blessed i agree...big green raw love to you Ian xo
Rawgreengoddess - you too! Congrats on your raw goodness!!!
=)
I ♥ the "raw glow" we get from eating this way! That's my fav part besides feeling amazing! Lol, I thought I was doomed to paleness for the rest of my life!
A food log is a great idea! I hope that you can isolate the cause. They didn't hurt or itch or anything like that, but they didn't look right. At first I thought it was skin cancer or something!
I looked up petechiae as Eric recommended in the co...
Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.
Pink Lady Apple,
I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
I really believe that is possible to heal all of the body...regeneration of tissue is not a far fetched concept. There is a case of a man who re-grew a finger, recently! I have to dig to find the article, but I read it on naturalnews.com. Mind you...
i can understand american accent, i have been working with them for quite a while
my ear is not tuned to ause accent yet, i guess you are my first ause friend to talk with :)
but i am gonna catch up soon
