I like to cut fruit and dip the wet part of the fruit into the bee pollen. You can experiment with any fruit but my favorite are apples and strawberries. I also put a tablespoon or more into smoothies.
I use a local brand and buy direct from the bee farmer. I treats his bees well and doesn't use wierd gasses and such to collect honey and bee pollen. I'm sure there is someone in your area that does the same. Unless you trust you supplier you don't always know what you are getting or hows they treat the bee's.
3 to 9 tlbs. soaked hemp seeds (Soaked about a couple of minutes or so doesn't take long at all)
2 to 3 tlbs bee pollen
1 to 2 tsp spirulina or AFA powder
2 tsp honey
You can also add other stuff if you want like cacao, maca or goji berries. Blueberries add an interesting taste but slow the digestion. Every once and a while I will add vanilla powder. Get creative and enjoy!
ooh good idea. :] my dad's good friend actually just got a bee hive! I bought some bee pollen from whole foods until his hive starts producing. Thanks Ryan
