Just an observation I noticed... Most raw foodist website I know, women are usually pronominal. In Pot luck the same is happening. What's your opinion??? Why do you think so?? I mean I believe men are more intellectual and women are more... emotional.. Does it mean Raw food feels more good than it sounds??? I don't know how to put!!!
I don't want to be picking on anyone here either- I just think it is the belief that people\men can't get complete protein from a vegan\ raw vegan diet that is the problem here. It should be emphasized that they either think they need meat vs knowing because most haven't even tried to go without meat for a week or month etc. Most people haven't even looked into nutrition to try to get a balanced diet- they just go for -ok I've had my meat so I'm good.
That is why so many guys are losing their hair. You need silica, b6, and biotin for hair production. Cooking food destroys b6. Most guys don't eat enough raw vegetables and can't get these from your average supplement either.
I think the reason is because women are more aware of their bodies than most men, but I feel like I am extremely aware of my body and state of being so it really depends on a person to person basis.
Also I would say that more than anything, people suffering from health conditions are the most attracted to this diet. And if women are more aware of problems in there body then that is why more of them are into health in general.
Another reason is because of beauty, lets face it, statistically women obviously care more about the way they look then men. Men usually care more about strength.
I like to do fasts as well and I think the power in fasting is that its a remedial action, one part of the process of purifiying. For instance if you feel you have a lot of non-virtuous residue or spiritual obstacles to remove, you generate regret...
Loren,
Was your fast that regained your health a supervised one, and with whom? How long was your fast? What did you eat like before that?
Do you mind me asking what health challenges you were experiencing?
Who did you intern under yourself? I ...

don't agree with the whole raw food creating a damp environment thing because of the wildly different effects of different raw foods. i've found candida to respond to 100% raw, several different approaches.
