Give it to me Raw

Anyone have any books by Carol Alt? Or the great eliminator recipe?

I used to have one of her books that had a veggie juice recipe called "The great eliminator" Does anyone know what the recipe is?

It looks as if I may have been mistaken cause I have both of those books and I thought there was a third one but I don't see anyting else online. I htink that maybe it was from this book....Raw Food Life Force Energy by natalina rose. Whatever book it was had a 28 day program for going raw.

I found it! It was in the other book, no wonder I couldn't find it at first haha. Well here it is for anyone who would like to try it. It is a great juice to drink first thing every morning, it helps to have good regular poopies. I personally only make half of what the recipe calles for.

The Great Eliminator

1 medium or large beet

1 cucumber

10 medium carrots

1 inch fresh ginger

And here is another good one that is supposed to be good for energy or something.

Life Force Power-Ade

Makes 3 to 4 cups

6 to 8 leaves fresh kale with stems

2 apples

1 whole lemon with peel

1 whole medium-sized beet

1 head celery or 2 cucumbers

1 to 2 tablespoons fresh ginger

I assume this is juiced, not blended?

You're suppose to be able to pick the leaf out of the middle - and it comes out realllllllll easy - if it's ripe. It should smell ripe too.

It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...
