Give it to me Raw

I'm having pain in the liver/gall bladder area on an ongoing basis with digestive problems and bloating, plus lack of energy issues. I believe this is holding back my transition to full raw.
I'm thinking of doing Hulda Clark style Liver Flush to push the issue along.

Anyone have good results? And I mean symptom relief, not just stones in the loo, but actual physical improvement.

I look forward to your responses and opinions

Hi RawZi, didn't see this post till now, can't quite keep up here!

Yes, I'm with you on avoiding fiber - especially excess veggie fiber which is *insoluble*. So fruit peels wouldn't help - they aren't digestible and don't break down. Soluble is very different though - it breaks down in the intestines and absorbs moisture - soluble fiber typically gels up if you mix it with water. Chia is great for that, it absorbs something like 9 times it's volume - I use that in most of my drinks. I've been adding slippery elm lately too, that's easy and it tastes good. I don't know about irish moss, except what DV says specifically - that you can buy it powdered, that is pretty common and it works OK, but he prefers to buy whole irish moss, for which he has a particular distributor. If you're really interested I can try to find out, but I don't remember off hand. Unless you are making elixirs/smoothies though, it probably wouldn't work for you (the whole pieces). You need to blend it in the vitamix for it to really homogenize. For some reason he feels this is much superior to the powder, but I've not tried it in any form myself.

We need a major movement into herbs.

I've done 12 or so liver flushes. You need to clean out your colon day of or 2nd day before, and day or 2nd day after, liver flush. Or suck on lots of cassia, to stimulate lots of movement, the stones must exit right away at all costs.

I've done the Moritz, 6 oz olive oil, 4 oz grapefruit juice, epsoms.

My asthma and my allergies were both virtually gone after 3-4 liver flushes.

I think it is Hulda who says the liver ages, so we are as old as our liver. Liver #1 organ then if this is true.

I like to ramp up the Moritz program and do no oils for the whole week of the flush, and nice to synch it with the NEW MOON (May 24th, JUNE 22nd), super releasing time of month, for best results.

And the 20 minutes after the evoo drink is good time to visualize and concentrate on expelling the super stinky stones.

I am eating 9-12 apples a day right now, and on night of 24th is the mixture.

Hopefully you can start 24 oz apple juice or that many apples today.

i can relate Adom...been clean quite awhile myself, but there are toxins in me that have been there for years and years...it's a long process reversing the trend and no single method is the answer--but they are really good to keep myself busy with along the way...8^))

i have a friend or two who lost a chunk of soul along the way--it's truly a sad thing. one friend in particular used to make his own acid and some crossed through his skin and basically he never came down...wow, too many events to relate them all...we can be powers of example, all my friends are curious about the detoxification process if not interested in it themselves...it's an interesting world, isn't it?

and yet my friend was this skilled (well not skilled enough not to make a crucial mistake)...and he had a good lab in which to work. very sad story, actually.

yeah...unstable is the perfect word for it i think...especially compared to the more organic approach..
I had a liver flush yesterday. consisting of:

--2 vodka tonics
--3 rum and cokes
--and 2 beers

it didn't work out so well.

I read the other day that Dr. Robert Cassar likes to drink vodka on an empty stomach as an internal cleanser before going out to run. I've never that before but I thought it was interesting.

Hi
I´m having now problems with my liver as well I broke the vegan lifestyle (eggs) and the raw as well.
I want to go back to it as soon as possible, so if you have some RAW recipes that will make my liver live again it would be very nice to tell me about it,
I´m taking gentiana and sambucus-drops and acupuncture for the upper stomach glands, and graepfruit-oliveoil-chili-garlic-smoothies I drink 2-3 l water or tea a day..
I know the liver likes bitter things...... but if you have another recipe I would like to try it.
First I thought that it is some detox- but after scratching my shoulders bloody for 2 weeks, i thought it must be something wrong ..... and it was the liver.
thx for your advices

I just did this cleanse. It worked very well. I felt amazing for 2 days and then returned to mostly normal. They claim you need to do it 13 times. David Jubb would say 50 times as often as every 4 days. His is more gentle though. Some people are against the epsom salts in this one below. The book is very informative and you can talk to the author.

Len Watson claims to have a really good one that uses coffee enemas. He does even more stone softening stuff. I'm about to start this one.

I've tried David Jubbs and found it to be too time consuming with not so many stones. Some like it though and it's coffee based.

David Wolfe's in his Success book I felt was a joke compared to the one above.

I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...

I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.

Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...

they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..
