Give it to me Raw

I've been drinking it for a few years because I heard it's healthy but I'm not sure what the real benefits are. I know it makes a lot of juice and it's a shame to throw out all that good nutrition like most people do. Anyone know the specific benefits of watermelon rind juice? I just drank 2 quarts, a little stevia makes it almost palatable.

all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals are in the rind, such as Vit A, B & C

I've never drank rind juice by itself, however I have left the rind on when I juice watermelon. Actually, I've never thought about just juicing the rind. Maybe I'll try that.

I actually toss watermelon chunks (rinds, seeds and all) into a blender in the summer. It REALLY helps with water weight. I LOVE it.

It's not all that tasty but does have good natural salts in it. Add a green apple and it should make it tasty.

My first question would be why?

If you have to change the flavor of it by adding a sweetener to make it palatable then it's probably not people food.

Just because something has nutrients in it doesn't mean we should eat it or that it's good for us.

All of the nutrients in watermelon rind can be easily obtained from other fruits and vegetables. Why juice the rind when you can get them in a much tastier version from other foods?

The rind makes some good compost though :)
