I am a newbie in the Ultra world in that I have recently made the decision to start training for ultras. I am raw, and was hoping to find some wise ultra runners that can steer me in how to go about running loooong distances while raw. I know they are out there, but I can't seem to find much info on what to eat, how much etc. I think I am not eating enough, and want to see what others do. Also, in an unrelated non food inquiry...how long did it take you to go from runner to ultra runner?
Thanks! I will check it out. :) What about green smoothies? When I did my 12 hr run last year I did drink a couple instead of eating anything other than bananas. Seemed ok....but for longer distances I wonder...

DO you eat any greens at all? **off to order 811...***
