How cool you posted this, I have a funny story. Last weekend I was at my favorite raw food place in Seattle, Thrive. I was at the register paying for my smoothie when I look over, and guess who's walking through the door- Matt and Angela. I was so surprised to see them, I have to admit I felt a little "starstruck." I was looking around like, "omg, does anyone else think this is crazy??!?!?!" But nobody was acting like anything was out of the ordinary!! I really wanted to go up to them and get a booked signed or something, but I felt like an idiot because nobody was reacting to them the way I was lol. I got in the car and called my boyfriend like "you'll never believe what just happened to me!!!" but he didn't know who I was talking about. I had to put it to him like, "this would be the same as if you saw and NBA player in a store and I didn't know who they were but you were really excited" lol!!!!!!!!!
Aww! I know how you feel. Three years ago when I lived in NYC I would go to Pure Food & Wine, and one time I saw Sarma but I was sooo shy! (And almost hyperventilating.) My boyfriend was with me, and he also had no clue, he was just enjoying the food. ;)
I think these folks are great but does anyone think that having your wedding as an event, with tickets no less, is a little ... Heidi and Spencer of the raw food world?
A chemical wedding, lol!
Now I'm regretting my own ceremony. I should've gotten married at the dry cleaner's instead of a Japanese garden. I could've worn a polyester dress and carried plastic flowers while walking down an astroturf path (the kind with the plastic daisies). And I should've worn a wig instead of doing my own hair. I'd have served food full of msg and fake colors. Lots of Rocket Pops and a cake made of Hostess Snowballs. Then I'd go tour the Dow plant on my honeymoon.
Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.
I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...
I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.
Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
hi honey,
we did an experiment in school with ear candles. we set up one with a real person, followed directions perfectly...set up another the same way but instead of putting it in someones ear we just held it against a pillow...both candles had...
