Alternatives to sunscreen lotion?
I am off to maui in a couple of days:D and would love to hear your ideas about how to avoid getting burned without using sunscreen lotion?

Physical blocks are the best (i.e. hat, clothes). Some plant oils will keep you from burning, but only block certain wavelengths, thus your skin can be damaged without you knowing it . . .

Hmmm . . . not quite there yet . . . There are some chalks out there though that are in use if you don't mind looking like a snowman . . . I think they have other garbage in them too though . . .
