I know a raw fooder who does not drink tea because it is not raw...
It makes me wonder..
I mean what nutrients are you really losing by drinking hot tea? I sure won't sacrifice a nice cup of tea on a cold day or when I need to relax and sooth an upset stomach.
How are you out there? Still drinking TEA even if it's not technically RAW?
I love tea ... absoluTEAlly , as well . It adds a lot ... it depends what kind of and how and when ... I have a Collection ... Tea is sacred ... something to be respected ... to be drunk ritually ...
But never TeaBags ! JUST IF , o n t h e r o a d , at least the best quality ... BUT I cut the little bag - carefully - and use the leaves ...
I also meditate in drinking it ... specially Sencha ... or Jasmin ...
I order a pound at a time from the co-op for the discount and steep it very lightly. My teeth are going yellow though and people think I'm drinking urine.
