Give it to me Raw

Yes Tea. That tasty refreshing calming enchanted ancient beverage that can be enjoyed cold or warm. How delightful, isn't it!

OR IS IT?

I know a raw fooder who does not drink tea because it is not raw...
It makes me wonder..
I mean what nutrients are you really losing by drinking hot tea? I sure won't sacrifice a nice cup of tea on a cold day or when I need to relax and sooth an upset stomach.

How are you out there? Still drinking TEA even if it's not technically RAW?

It's all about the tea.

I'm not opposed to drying my own herbs and making sun tea.

I love to meditate while sipping tea.

That sounds ideal, homemade tea with dehydrated herbs. Which do you use?

lol...It will be a while before I grow my own herbs for tea...you should see my tea collection.

I just purchased a second dehydrator, so anything I can grow. My lavender is on its way to plant heaven, so I need to purchase another one...can't go wrong there.

Oh I see. It sounds like a great idea, would require much growing and drying. It would be a tea-venture.

This is kind of a gray area for me aswell. It's not really food but it is tiny "cooked" particals. Is it depleting in any way from my body's vitality? If so, very very little. You can make sun tea, but does it work well with herbs? I don't know.
I drink tea almost every day, if someone can tell me a good enough reason not to, please do and I may stop.

This is exactly what I've been trying to figure out. Like you I'll keep drinking (organic herbal tea ususally) til someone gives me a good reason not to. The way I see it tea can be good for you, depending on which kind you chose of course. For instance I've started picking wild nettles not far from where I live and just brewing them fresh. Will try drying them to (Slightly different taste when brewed). Local, not sprayed/fertilized and heated to the temperature I chose. And yummy =)

i love tea. i look at it as different than food. having said it...i don't drink it everyday and i've given up how i used to do it for the most part (simmering fresh herbs) and gone to sun tea when i can....and when i'm being medicinal with herbs i powder them and mix them in with smoothies.
