Give it to me Raw

Some negative people keep attacking super foods and David Wolfe saying: there could not be any use for super foods. Here is what I think: “Super” foods can be survival foods that we send to starvation areas. Grains, canned food and “super” foods can all be used as a last resort to avoid death by starvation. We should use for that the lowest quality foods to dehydrated and turn into dry powders and not our organic veggies. Let’s call it “starvation food”
Of course some super foods like colloidal gold, pearls solution, and velvet antler powder have no use even for starving people and need to be thrown away. I’m just trying to be constructive.

Trader Joe's also has a lot of products with msg even though they say they don't carry any products with msg. They have tons of products with natural flavor, spice, and yeast extract all the sneaky ways they can avoid admitting they do have msg. Msg is my nemisis...

Did the people who work in the restaurant know what they did to you? Did you have to pay for the meal?

ahh thats interesting. i used to work for whole foods and we'd always been told that the store didn't carry anything with msg in it, though i wouldnt be surprised if that's untrue. did you eat the peaches? have any kind of negative reaction?

A bit more of the citric acid/MSG story can be found here. I had no idea citric acid came from corn (most of the time)

They forgot to mention Madison Square Garden.
Ooh, good link. Thanks.
I've saved this from a while back.
LinkWe eat many, many other things that breakdown into much more free glutamate than would be found in a whole lot of MSG. What things? Well, meat, cheese, fish and all things savory. And such vegetables as asparagus and tomatoes. If that’s not enough, the body makes its own glutamate when needed.

Conclusion of the link is pretty much MSG isn't as bad as we think & gives credit to where the Chinese restaurant syndrome came about. I personally try to avoid anything process & just stick with whole foods. For simplicity reasons.

Another conventional wisdom: Lots of protein will only make you pee proteins ;) Expensive for you and puts a strain on your kidneys.
