A future for super foods
Some negative people keep attacking super foods and David Wolfe saying: there could not be any use for super foods. Here is what I think: “Super” foods can be survival foods that we send to starvation areas. Grains, canned food and “super” foods can all be used as a last resort to avoid death by starvation. We should use for that the lowest quality foods to dehydrated and turn into dry powders and not our organic veggies. Let’s call it “starvation food”
Of course some super foods like colloidal gold, pearls solution, and velvet antler powder have no use even for starving people and need to be thrown away. I’m just trying to be constructive.

I like maca. It is supposed to be an adrenal adaptogen- good for balancing out stress. I have only taken small amounts so I can't say it has a strong effect or not.

I think some foods really are super! some are good and some bad. cacao = bad for alot of people but some other stuff david wolfe promotes that are whole foods not dehydrated ect are awesome. eg. chia seeds, berries, raw honey, aloe vera, seaweeds, jungle peanuts, tocotrienols just to name a few. super foods are just foods that are very dense in nutrients. i think some to add to the list should be greens and certain fruits.

Sweeping generalizations against "superfoods" do more to show your blatant bias than to reveal their individual merits.
Probably most people would agree that some are better than others, rather than dismiss them all as only "starvation food"
I do agree though that it's tempting to think that everything fits neatly into very black and white categories (ie: all fruit good, all super foods bad, all animal products bad, etc.) However, that's not reality no matter how much we wish it were.
Complexity rules and details matter. Reductionist thinking is for the weak or lazy.
