Give it to me Raw

I hope this one doesnt cause controvery , but these two different forms of raw eating are in almost direct opposition from each other. 80/10/10 says fats are a bad thing ( even healthy fats ) and we should be eating almost excluively fruits. The PH Miracle by Dr Robert young recommends 'Alkalising foods' that keep the blood stream clean and healthy, he doesnt recommend eating a lot of fruit because as far as the blood is concerned, its all glucose and it feeds bacteria and causes acidic waist. I suppose they are both good in a way.. compared to any standard diet of junk, but is there anything in Dr Youngs theory of Alkalising.. from a personal point of view, Dr Young is the most scientific sounding, he seems to be right into his research and scientific observation and seems to know what he is talking about, the other guy seems a tiny bit arrogant, not that this should matter of course, so im just interested in anyones personal experience and even scientific input to see what they think

I can tell it clogs my blood because I feel sluggish. I feel like everything I do is more laborious. When I don't eat overts I don't feel this way. I feel active, mobile and awake.

I prefer low to no fruit. High fruit made me feel shitty.

That being said, I do eat animal products which also are known for causing an acidic environment. I use drops in my water & inhaleable oxygen to try and keep a less acid, more alkaline system. (but honestly its a low priority. As long as I feel good, poop ok, don't stink too bad, don't break out too often, can breath clearly, I figure I'm ok)

i prefer the 801,010 Miracle myself. Not to be flippant, but there are times when i'm eating very close to an 811 model, and there are times when i'm not and i'll eat sprouted grains, more than 1 avo a day, nut mylk, etc. each way of eating made sense for me that DAY. sometimes i'll stay with what i'm doing for a bit, sometimes just a short stretch. i think that i love how these people have put some great ideas out there and they're all based in truth. for me personally, i let my appetite determine what outfit truth is wearing any given day.

oops opened up a can of worms there.. It seems that different people respond differently to different things! I didnt have a great response to too much fruit that why I asked. I have had the equivelant of 3 avocados and a tin of coconut milk worht of good fats today and I feel ok.. ( and strangely still a bit hungry! ) though I have heard hunger dissapates after a while when changing to a mostly raw diet, so im looking forward to that. In terms of science, I do feel that a lot of the live blood analysis work from Dr Robert Young is quite convincing.. I lsitened to The Anthony Robbins health cd's and he puts forward a convincing case. But I wouldnt like this to turn into a whose right and whos wrong kind of thread, as I believe there are many paths to the same destination!

Here is an interesting question.. what is a good measure of health scientifically.. Triglicerides ? Live blood analysis ? fasting insulin ? there are so many different things I would probably say that how you feel is not always the best way of telling initially, as you can always experience symptoms of detoxification which initially make you feel rough.. I have also seen web sites with people calling Robert young Quacks.. which I think is unfair

I eat as much fat as I like. High protein, moderate fat, low carb.

No way is fruit & veg protein enough. No way no day.

General rule of thumb is a half gram of protein for every lb of body weight.

thats the recommended by standard american diet professionals.
...I am supposed to eat 4000 cals a day if i am just sedentary according to that system ...i would die if i ate that much food. and if i was to eat 4000 cals of veggies ....almonds, animal fat ect i would be WAY WAY over my limit of protein even according to that system.

i think of like trusting the inner raw person within that's even more powerful than my own thoughts. it will let me know what to eat, how to eat, when to eat. and it can also take in excellent information and apply it how it fits best for me. it really is all good. peace and all best on the journey...8^))

I find the science of Dr Young highly suspicious. Just because it sounds very scientific doesn't mean that it is. However, his book is what got me started eating better so at least he pointed me in the right direction. :-)
