Give it to me Raw

I am challenging myself to not buy any food hardly for two weeks. Well, I know I still need to buy purified water and greens for juicing to stay healthy and maybe some supplies for sprouting Sunflower Greens later on, but everything else is on hold.
I have access to all the Coconuts, Coconut Sprouts, Seaweeds, Aloe, and Noni I can eat. There is also some wild Greens, Cucumbers, and Tomatoes I can find. I am sure there are a few more things I can find to eat too.
I am tired of getting low-quality, high-cost foods that don't do much for me. I ate $400 worth of Goji Berries in a month and sorry people, but I didn't feel any healthier. I am determined to eat more homegrown, and wild foods. I have already run out of fruit. Mango season is late so none of those right now for me.
I may be cheating because I have been a chef and just might have enough food to last me that long. I need to use that stuff up anyway.
I started on Monday and will continue at least until Monday, June 29th.
Money is not the issue, I just want to eat fresh foods and become more connected to my environment by gathering and picking an increasing amount of my own foods. Local foods are known to contain the right proportion of nutrients and anti-biotics necessary for us to live and thrive there. I'd rather spend money on gas driving all around the island to gather and pick food than to buy low quality food that has been imported from overseas and sitting around for a while or something that is local, which may or may not be organic and is not fresh-picked. I live in Hawaii which is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and most of everything we use here comes from overseas. I also enjoy challenging myself and conducting the experiment on myself. I have a feeling I will get healthier from doing this. What do you think?
Come on people! Join the challenge if possible.
This is a picture of everything that went into one of my juices recently:

I have got lots of Noni, Aloe, and Seaweeds

Here's another one that I took before making my juice. Aloe, Celery, Red Leaf Sea Lettuce, and half a Noni Fruit.

Hahaha. Sometimes you just gotta enjoy what you CAN get. I want a Mango from my tree, but the birds keep getting to them first.

I think that is VERY cool. I like hunting for wild edible foods and have the neighborhood scoped out. I would be sooo jazzed to have a coconut tree in the neighborhood but we are a very nutty community; almonds, walnuts etc. You are very lucky :)

I have a tall tree here. It doesn't provide enough for me, so I have to get more from other places. I feel very fortunate to have sand or soil under my feet and an abundance of foods growing around me.

What you're doing is sounds cool Kiani! If you ever need employee's for help, let me know. You'd only have to pay me with some of the foods you grow :)

Sure, I can use some people to help carry trash bags full of Avocados down the hill. Yes, I will give you a fair share of the harvest. I could use a woman around the house to make me a juice when I come home exhausted with a bountiful harvest. You could have some of the juice too. I like it with Romaine, a little Celery, Sunflower Greens, fresh Seaweed, Aloe, and Noni. Maybe you could help me with some research projects and I could pay you in the form of fresh Hawaiian Coconuts and Coconut Sprouts delivered in the mail straight to your door. Enjoy!

1 week down. This is too easy. Here's some pictures. The stem is from a Payaya tree. I use it as a straw.

The 2 weeks is up. It was easy for me to do. I ran out of fruit first, went without for a day, then picked some Mangoes! YUM! I now have enough Soursop to last me for weeks. I will be casually continuing this for another week or so. I am expecting to run out of the nuts and seeds that I commonly purchase. In replacement of that I will need to be eating more Coconuts, Avocados, Coconut Sprouts and beach nuts (or whatever they are) that I can find locally a pick myself directly from the tree (or collect the nuts from under the tree) at the stage of maturity that I enjoy them. Thanks for your support.

I recently took some people from my meetup group through the valley where there are Coffee fruit, Velvet Passion fruit, Mountain Apple, Guava, Kukui Nut, and Gotu Kola. It was a great time indeed.

how is kukui nut and gotu kola ( I am about to look these up).. :))))

Kukui Nut has a laxative effect on most people. If your digestive tract is cleared out by eating lots of raw foods, it may not have as much of an effect. I once ate 15 Walnut-sized Kukui Nuts along with my meal and had a sore stomach more than anything else. Kukui Nut is edible, but it is better to eat just 1 or 2 at a time.

Gotu Kola is an herb found in most health food stores in a dried form. When picked and eaten fresh it tastes like Carrots! It is my favorite wild green leafy vegetable. Gotu Kola is good for your skin and brain and promotes longevity. I would like to get more Gotu Kola in my diet.

I am now on my 4th week of living on hand-picked foods. There are places in the world where there is so much abundance around us that there may not be a need to have to buy fruit, nuts or seeds.
