Why mason jars?
I was just curious why I've seen a lot of pictures with people drinking from their mason jars. I think its pretty rad to pull out a jar from your bag and gulp it down. It's almost like seeing someone drink a special elixir. Then again, I guess it sorta is.

exactly. . . you've got it!
glass is way better than the toxin filled plastic containers. . . doesn't use oil to produce, easily washable + accessible with wide-mouths, the lids are easy to screw on and off (which makes shaking and storing supereasy). . . not to mention the hip vintage feel!

Well put Jenny! Those are all the reasons I carry mine in a glass jar as well.
One tip is that I have broken a few jars lately, so now I always wrap each jar in a towel for extra protection.

any flea market, thrift store (with kitchenwares) would be a great place. . . mums, and grandmums who used to can?!. . . yard sales often are a treasure trove of mason jars. . . and even grocery stores or feed + seed stores carry them in cases. . .
i wish you all were closer, my mum has a pantry full of them!

also, a dr. friend told me that some of the waxy stuff can drip into your ear and do permanent damage. it does feel great, but i don't do it any longer. i've actually fallen asleep while having it done. =/
