all books written by sydney banks. "quest for the pearl," "second chance," "the enlightened gardener"
there are more, they all bring warm tears, calmness and overwhelming joy.
Undoubtedly, The Power of Now. . .
I also felt Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead resonate deep within me. . . as well as Eat Pray Love (for a goofier but still very deep sort of spirituality)
But again. . . I'll end with Eckhart Tolle as the MOST influential and opening. . .

-The celestine prophecy, by James Redfield
-The power of myth, by Joseph Campbell
-Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn
-The mysterious stranger, by Mark Twain (fiction, but really interesting)
These are not all essentially spiritual, but all somehow helped me grow and changed my thoughts a bit.
As I mentioned in the other post when I read The Power of Now for the first time I didn't understand it. The consciousness that I was operating at during this period in my life just wasn't ready for it. After watching The Secret this is when my whole world opened up and I begin to make sense of spirituality and consciousness.
Here's some other books that have assisted me on my journey:
Think and Grow Rich
The Science of getting Rich
As a man thinketh
The Work- This book is a must for understanding how to see what's really true and what's been the "story" you've been holding onto.
A Course in Miracles- While I haven't actually read this book entirely I have read a few books about the teachings- ACIM can be a tough read for many or so I've heard. - I get a lot of my information about the teachings through my higher self and guides, but this book was brought to my attention many times to open me up to the ideas.
The Lightworker's Way- This book helped me tremendously because I was one of those soul's that opened up very quickly and I had been curious about psychics, but wasn't quite sure if I believed in them. This book put things in perspective for me and explained why I had felt so different growing up. :-)
There are so many books and I have always been a very avid reader. I have slowed down quite a bit since I started meditating, chanting, and speaking to the voice within. Reading books that you're lead to helps out tremendously with this journey that we are all on together.
The Kryon Books (there are 11), which are full of channelled information from beyond.
I just can't get enough and am so greatful for the knowledge and understanding I am gainining as I read them.
That is a good point Angus. I have found that a lot of fundamentalist religions accuse everyone else of worshiping the devil and it like a blind hysteria- like all these other people have a black bible in their house and secretely worship a statue...

Yeah really that was just my negative response to Arnold Ehret's book from an emotional standpoint. I just found it lacking in completion. There's good logic in it though.
First there'sDr . J. Tilden's book on the cause of disease. Toxemia Explai...
The dates for 2010 are now on the website. Last year no one wanted to leave the island, so this year we are doing 10 day retreats!!

You know, I'm aware that we made some groundbreaking discoveries in recent years ...
I'm not going to comment on climate change. But i will comment on carbon trading. Because they can produce such a consciousness of fear out of global warming - they are able to manipulate markets much more severely - and they seem to get away with...
