Wow! I just checked out the recipes and they sound incredible! I was a huge fan of samoas and thin mints in the past- and ALL of Shannon's recipes sound, and look, incredible. I look forward to trying them out soon- just not sure which to go for first...samoraws, rawgalongs...hmmm...
The nonraw samoas were always my fav, until I made raw versions. My vote is for the rawgalongs, although I like them all. I can't tell you how many I've eaten so far. I had one of each for lunch yesterday.
I cannot wait to try these, but I'm gonna have to since I'm starting a MC tomorrow.
You talk about smiling from within so brightly when I woke up and found these
recipes today! :-)
I do have a quick question. You mentioned we could use "your chocolate recipe"
or our favorite one. Being new to raw I don't have a favorite one yet. So what's yours?!
I agree with Charles. You got some skillz to pay the billz...Haha!
Good luck with your Master Cleanse, Lisha. I hope these cookies give you something to look forward to when you're done. They're like a little reward for a job well done :-)
Actually, I don't really have a favorite chocolate recipe, although I do like the two I suggested at the end of my post. You could, however, use the one on my blog. It works well when chilled. Just cut the lecithin in half or eliminate it altogether to avoid the grainy texture (my only gripe with the end result).
You have made many of us very happy with your clever raw creations!
I was so in awe of the cookies that I totally zoomed past the chocolate recipe.
Thanks for letting me know! And I can't wait to reward myself with some of these. :-)

Have you tried hicheya Persimmons?
Be sure they are super-mushy ripe.
Just cut the top off and spoon out the lusciousness.

The diet is mostly cultured, raw veggies and non-starchy veggies. The remaining 20% consists of either a protein or a starch (but never eaten together).
It's strict in many ways. The goal of the diet is to not feed yeast in the colon, and to heal...
thanks! I didn't know that. I grow mungs, but they never get past the 3/4" stage. I'm going to experiment with growing them as you do.....sounds like a great variation!
Thanks for that Foxy!
Here is another video where a scientist talks about his work sampling ice cores that shows elevated levels of cosmic dust in the polar ice caps. Iridium and gold is at a lot higher in the cores.
I should clarify. I am not vegan, and I eat a very, very, very strict diet (The Body Ecology Diet). If I don't follow this diet, I don't stay this skinny--or healthy. I went on this diet for health reasons; it's the only diet that has really helpe...
