Give it to me Raw

What is your job?

I am so into Raw Foods, I want to use it as well as Eckhart Tolle's teachings to help people with mental disorders. I hope to open up a centre for people with mental disorders, which focuses on yoga, creative therapy, raw foods & lessons based on Eckhart's teachings. But I know this will take a long time and a lot of money.

So what are some 'raw food jobs', is there any jobs that I can encoporate Raw Foods into (except for a Raw chef, because I am so not artistic =p)? I was thinking maybe a life coach?

=/ Got any ideas?

My aunt is a marriage and family therapist (MFT) and she and her co-clinician (a social worker and yoga teacher) are talking about opening a yoga studio with a holistic therapy component, like Phoenix Rising), along the lines of other such centers they have seen.

Working in a center like that (I know they exist) as a lifestyle coach sounds like it would be up your alley. Perhaps you should look at what sorts of yoga and reiki centers have such a component, ask to talk to someone who does something like what you want to do, and find out how they did it?

I was thinking of getting a degree in culinary arts/dietics, so I could work in a hospital and help with menu planning. Our local college has a joint track that allows you to be a chef and dietic technician, and it looks very interesting.

In due time, I would think :-)

I help people think irrational thoughts, and dare to live irrational lives under the name of 'fashion'. By making wearable pieces that inspire and remind them of said irrational thoughts and irrational lives.

I also do free, undercover counseling, and contribute towards impregnating mass conscioussness with irrationality and freedom through self, all beautiful.

Yes. Keep the faith. It will only take a long time and a lot of money if you think it will. Keep the possibility that (even from just mentioning it here) it could happen in a short time and with little money.
I hear your dream. Dreams manifest quickly when there's passion in them--I detect some of that here.
This is something you want to do. The universe doesn't want to keep you waiting when your ready to go. You are ready aren't you?

That's cool that you want to use Tolle's teachings to help people with mental disorders. Are you a psychologist, by chance? I would be interested in knowing how psychologists employ Tolle's teachings, if any of them do.

they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..

I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports: 1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs 2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...

I'm feeling deprived; I might have been a little too...early for these books. Sounds like they might be worth checking out though as I love a good children's book. Probably the right emotional level for me...
