We are starting a Lemon Cleanse....detox,clean from the inside out... rededicate. We plan on going for at least 10 days. Give us your thoughts, feedback and suggestions and join us if you wish.
are you doing the master cleanse? i have done this many times. the one suggestion i would make is to definatley into it if you want to make the 10 days. such as liquids for a few days prior to the fast and then breaking the fast to liquid as well. good luck!
How many lemons are you planning to consume everyday. Avoid bottled lemon juice at all costs! It is REALLY worth it to just juice your own lemons. The difference is night and day. I know the bottle is convenient, but there are no enzymes. You probably already know this but I thought Id mention it for anyone reading.
I blend about 5 or 6 a day with water, msm, and wild honey. A good way to start the day.
Good luck...document it as much as possible! Get ready for change!
OK I am stocked with fresh WILD lemons...they are actually quite sweet and more orange in color than usual. Where can I read more about this lemon cleanse so that I can go into it prepared and confident? thanks!!
Now that I think about it, I think I would definitely switch wild raw honey instead of maple syrup. The originator of that cleanse knew nothing about honey when he made that book. Honey is the best food ever, and I make that beverage every morning anyways, but I blend the lemons instead of juicing them.
(4 lemons Blended)
(One Tablespoon of super high quality raw honey (cheaper than Grade B Maple Syrup)
(Teaspoon of Cayenne)
(MSM if you can get it)
(Water...probably Fiji or Iceland...get the best while we can)
And Alexandra...youre super lucky, you can feast on wild cactus fruits when you finish! BLESSED!
I was all set to replace maple syrup with wild raw honey......but found this while I was researching in preparation of beginning in the am.....thoughts????
WHAT ABOUT THE USE OF HONEY?
"Honey must not be used at any time internally. It is manufactured from the nectar picked up from the flowers by the bees—good enough in itself, perhaps—then predigested, vomited and stored for their own future use with a preservative added. It is deficient in calcium and has many detrimental effects for the human being.
According to one authority, honey is "a magical and mystical word in Healthfoodland. It is one of the most overpromoted, overpriced product being sold to gullible health foodists. The great value attributed to honey is delusive…honey is only a little less empty and more dangerous than sugar."
Just as with alcohol, honey, being predigested, enters the blood directly, raising the sugar content very rapidly above normal. To correct this, the pancreas must produce insulin immediately or possible death can occur. More insulin than necessary is likely to be produced, and the blood sugar level then drops below normal. This can produce blackout spells and even death if it goes to low. When blood sugar is below normal, a person will feel depressed. The regular use of honey can create constant imbalances wich in turn will adversely affect the normal function of the liver, pancreas and spleen. Hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia are the results of the use of unbalanced sugars. The balanced sugar in maple syrup and sugar can juice causes no dangerous side effects. Artificial, synthetic, and refined sugars have no place in a natural diet."
Day 3 - We are currently on day 3. we have plenty of energy, I worked out and my spouse swam laps. We are not doing this for weight loss but we have already lost 5 and 6 lbs respectively.
Perfect, I love the honey idea. I told my mum and dad last night at dinner and they are both super excited about doing it as well! Sunday its official ;)...can't wait
Well we are not early man. Sitting on the computer typeing isn't natural. Not sure what being natural has to do with working out.
Jumping rope at a moderate pace seems okay for someone out of shape or for a warm up. If you want it to be an effect...
Check out Dr. Bass' books for a much more concise understanding of his research and findings. I bought his books immediately after watching these videos, and have been reading through them since. :-) Great info, thanks for posting! http://www.drba...
I find it's quicker to make four cuts, scaling the outer skin equally then pulling it away and thumping with a wooden spoon. Plus it's less of a mess and you don't lose any juice because none of the kernels are cut :)
