I am a firm believer that everyone is on their own journey and NO ONE should pass judgment on another. Why then in (I believe) one of the most powerful movements in a long time (The Raw Food Movement) is there so much discord. :(
When I first got into raw 4 years ago...I was kinda clueless and did it the way I felt it needed to be done for ME. Now I eat 100% raw and my idea of raw is totally different now.
I believe there is no RIGHT or WRONG way to live this LIFESTYLE. Whatever works for you at the time is what's best. And let's not pass judgment on those who don't eat/live the way we do. They are on their own path and will get to their "place" in their own time.
You look great. I'm trying to go raw...it's hard. Can you tell me about these green smoothie?

Thanks for this post - from a relative newbie. There is so much confusion out there about how to eat raw, and it can get really intimidating sometimes. Also, I think sometimes we forget that any way to eat raw is a million times better than SAD.

small cup steamed, sprouted black beans with raw spinach, pepper, tomato, cilantro (no salt)
2 sticks celery
6 red bananas

I have not used the stuff for years, it gives me heart palpitations.
but when I did use the stuff my 1st choice was liquid (especially the flavored ones they have like toffee)
2nd choice: white, which is more processed, but I can not even stomach ...

Stuff that makes you imagine you are swimming with sea horses, or hanging out on a rainbow with your love.
