What is the point of life?

What actually is the reason for everyone’s existence? I thought briefly that there may be a God, but if there is a supreme being, at its full potential, why would it create forms that have the potential to do evil things? I do think that evil/pain is self-inflicted...but why is it possible?
Or is God like an Eskimo, who has lived in a place that has never known sand storms so could not comprehend what a sandstorm is, or even imagine one, yet surely if God is so amazing then God would be able to predict or have hyper intuition to clue it in about how the world will get messed up...
Or is God evil?
And I was thinking, maybe the point is to love people, but there are certain people we damage by having a close relationship with them...so it can't be that. And jobs and family life were imposed on us by society, so the point of existence can not be found in those...
So why do you suppose we exist, what were we created for? Why should we be existing? What do you think gives meaning to your own personal existence?

shit, so many facts that many get lost remembering them all. Fact is that we , once were in-tune with cosmic and earthly energies and suddenly we became blind to them....................
next step we took is to wage wars on everyone.
Point of life is & should be to embrace, hug & Love one another, putting aside all theories about theories of our origins, and of course all dogma associated with it.

of course we're different from other species on this planet.
we have the power of appreciation.
can any other species share the depth of our appreciation. of course, lions or whatever appreciate their mate, for a minute or a second, but they don't loll around in gratitude i assure you.
Saints don't come to earth for nothing, I assure you. They come cuz we need guidance.
Just like a math master guides in math, a woodworking master guides in that, humans need guidance, reminders, inspiration to stay on track, nothing wrong with that.
