You can eat it with the skin on it, and by that I mean eating it out of the skin rather than using a knife, but you can't eat the skin.
Kiwi is almost as bad as pineapple, for my tongue.
Pineapple always stung my tongue when I was growing up, but when I was a teenager, I finally had the big one. My tongue split down the middle like a lightening bolt, and a bunch of smaller splits stemmed from the main split, like branches from a tree. The split that I'm referring to cut into my flesh, but did not split my tongue into two pieces.
The reason I continued eating pineapple throughout my childhood was because I thought it stung everyones tongue.

I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.
Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
