What are we as a united, thriving community LIVING on raw foods going to do about Codex? I think we can do a lot of things. Spreading the message to buy local, organic, irridiated free through e-mails, newsletters, craigslists, internet groups, blogs, and videos. We are in the information age, so spread the positive, inspiring information that you want to hear. We are the people that keep Codex, the government, and big business interested, and making money. Organic, raw foods is a MONSTEROUS business. And if we want to see more health regulations we need to organize and spread the positive information out there. Organic is here to stay, Codex is going down like the nazi regime. We have power in numbers... nearly 4,000 GITMR members that could send 1 e-mail a day/ year. That's possibly 5,840,000,000 positive messages a year that can reach the world, with "just" 6 billion folks in the world... we CAN make a difference. Let's spread the knowledge of buying local, organic, irridiated free, and to reduce/recycle/reuse, etc. It will make a difference. This may sound cheesey, and you may know this information already, but we forget. Our lives are busy.

well less than 10% or not, i still feel it is something that needs to have at least a small buzz about it...even within a small community such as ours. Being that in such a short time, will change everything we have ever known...without anyone TRULY KNOWING!

Holy mole all animals for human consumption to be given growth hormones: mandatory, all food not consumed locally and raw to be irradiated: mandatory, all animals to be given atibiotics mandatory........etcetra ecetera........WHAT? What is going on? Is it some kind of tactic to make people go vegan, local and raw.?.. that would be sweet....but i don´t think thats the plan. Im taking a hyroponics course at the mo.... it will prob be illegal soon but at least i´ll know how.

I am glad the subject has been brought up again -the last time I posted it it seemed people were more concerned about the "Raw Guru" gossip & the latest flax cracker recipe...
THIS AINT NO JOKE! If we value the option to be able to eat healthy food & all other freedoms, the time is NOW to spread the word -no matter how thick the denial is!

no limits what so ever! And if it was easy as taking 5min and looking it up on the internet,...i think more people would know about it.

These are truths wether you can find them or not. There is more going on out there than anyone know about. The masses are too busy giving their kids caprice sun and french fries, watching reality tv....to actually live and be connected to anything, let alone truth!

Ok, so spread the word!

What is the word, in a few paragraphs that the masses can understand? (Myself included)
There is so much to wade through. People need something simple.
I've been getting Rimas newsletter for awhile, but I don't have time to read all that every time. Does anyone have something more simple to send to friends than that? I can't even understand with all the writing in the newsletter, exactly what she's saying is happening.

Jump on me for being lazy if you want. I probably am, and so are most of my friends around here. Anyone know of something simple they can read that will explain it? (feeling really frustrated right now, and powerless---eeek)
