i'm in LA on and off! Used to live here and my family is still here so I am always back for work or for visiting...
I've been to Juliano's (found it a little too heavy/fatty/salty and overpriced) and the one in Silverlake. and the stand at Hollywood Farmers Market.

new s.ca restaurant:

Blissfull Food
300 Carlsbad Village Drive, Ste 106
(between Carlsbad Blvd & Lincoln St)
Carlsbad, CA 92008
(760) 730-9782
blissfullfood.com

Eric is the head chef. I have had his cuisine a few times and he has raised the bar in the world of raw culinary art. I have yet to go the restaurant but from what I have heard it is excellent.

As a heads up, Terra Bella Cafe is closed, likely another raw venue to open in its place. Good Mood Food in HB is closed taken over by another cafe that has raw options.

i went to Rawvolution for the first time the other day, i had a great time, i love the proximity to the beach, and i went right after sunset, after like 30 min trying to choose, i decided to get the "Big Matt" cause the menu said it was the house specialty, it was really good, very much like texas bbq burger, and i don't even like raw onions, i also had curried veggies, salad and a goji berry lemonade, it was very good, and just under 20 bucks, the people working there were super friendly and cool, not uptight like i've experienced at other raw restaurants. I like Au Lac, cause it's very comforting, whenever me and my friends go we all order something different and sit around each other and share our plates. Cru is nice but it's too small to go with a big group. Juliano's is ok, but i think it's too much money for too little food. I like Rawvolution and Au Lac best, i don't mind paying, as long as i leave with a full happy tummy :)

and Good Mood Food, isn't in Huntington Beach anymore, the restaurant closed and the company is changing management and is looking to move to Pasadena, Quinimari Chocolates, my company, has teamed up with them and we will keep distributing the food around the So Cal markets, and plan start setting up at farmer's markets around town very soon

Survivorman is way more impressive Bear is just yummy to watch, even when he eats eyeballs. You gotta be hot to pull that off.

I love it cause it is an intense workout over a short period of time. My son had a "jump rope for heart" week at school that got me into it. It uses different muscles than running and also improves coordination a lot, and I was surprised how well ...

Survivorman is crazier, did you see that episode in the desert when he started talking to birds? But I still like Grylls better overall. I feel like there is more of a point in watching the show, you feel like you're learning something, lots of tr...

That's a pretty typical scene in a high fruit household. That an a ton of bananas. My dryer next to the washer has stacks of fruit carts on it. :)

Right--it's good in smoothies too. It's a necessity when there's no fruit in there!
