Out of curiousity, what are your favorite juice combinations? I have been loving freshly made juice lately but seem to make the same concoctions. I love green juices in particular because it keeps me bright, but what are your favorites?
Ahh it varies, whatever I have - maybe 1/2 or 3/4 of my vitamix I fill with spinach, then the rest with pear and apple. I usually put the spirulina in there too, blend it up, and strain all of it through a nut mylk bag!

I was straining a lot, but lately I have been just having it with all the pulp/fiber. I want to get a vitamix. I remember as a kid at the fair, the barker lady who would put in the peels, the egg and egg shells, the whole carrot, and whatever fresh fruits and veggies, and hand out little paper cups for everyone to taste. And it tasted great!!!
now I would add acai powder to it. Have been dabbling with Acai Powder recently - I was resistant cos I love the frozen pulp (which is not always easy /practical to get) and am suprising myself. Love it.
Where do you get acai powder? Is it raw? I bought some acai juice from this crazy lady who told me it was raw and then later I found out it was from concentrate and threw it all away.
6 leaves of kale (or other dark leafy green)
3 leaves of romaine
handful of sprouts( whatever fresh ones i have)
4 stalks of celery
1 small beet
1 medium carrot
1/2" ginger
I made a Green Salad Smoothie the other night and I'm hooked:
Lots of spinach
1/2 head broccolli (washed well)
1 Red Pepper
3 Spring Onions (Salad Onions)
1 chilli (seeds removed)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Bit of Extra-Vorgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil
I don't think our soil has nearly the same trace mineral concentration, so I think unrefined salt can be helpful. The seawater example doesn't fly because, like any substance, what is good in small amounts can be bad in large amounts.
