most fruit are fairly low on the glycemic index....but some low sugar fruits are berries, cucumbers, tomatoes, green apples and oranges. I suggest just eating blended sprouts and greens and eating your fruit separate so the sugars don't go to your blood stream as quick.
Their is another thread hear somewhere talking about what can i put in my smoothie besides fruit...it was god ideas.
I know berries are lower in sugar than a lot of fruits, and I don't think apples are too bad either. Maybe kale-apple-ginger or berry-spinach? You could try adding extra vegetables too like cucumber and celery. Cucumber is yummy in a green smoothie.

I have been doing pure fruit smoothies for breakfast and lunch... I tried going green... puke!! I just can't do it.... but then, I thought I could NEVER give up coffee....
which I did.
I made THE most disgusting lunch the other day... a smoothie of collard greens and parsley... so then I poured this over sprouted beans and put a bit of bee pollen on top... it was not very appealing.... so I'm looking for better ideas myself. I think it's not a good idea to eat things that are so unappealing... bad vibes and karma and whatnot.... hmmm?
Haha that smoothie sounds disgusting! Don't try to do the whole thing green! You have to go slow if you aren't used to the taste. Do more fruit than greens. I think spinach has a milder taste than most greens and goes really well with banana. Try1 or 2 bananas, 1/2 a mango or a whole peach, and a few ounces of spinach. You will be surprised how you don't even taste the spinach! Oh, and adding a handful of ice makes it way better!
1. 4 persimmons,1stalk celery, 1handful of baby spinach,1handful of dill and 2 cups of water.
2. 5 kale leaves, 1/2 bunch of fresh dill, 1/2 lime juice, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup of sundried tomatoes and 2 cups of water.
3. 5 leaves of red leaf lettuce, 1/4 bunch of fresh basil, 1/2 lime juice, 1/2 onion,2 celery sticks, 1/4 avocado.

I always put lime or lemon juice in with my greens in a green smoothie and it cuts the taste really well. It makes it still taste good even if you don't add much fruit.
I love it cause it is an intense workout over a short period of time. My son had a "jump rope for heart" week at school that got me into it. It uses different muscles than running and also improves coordination a lot, and I was surprised how well ...
Survivorman is crazier, did you see that episode in the desert when he started talking to birds? But I still like Grylls better overall. I feel like there is more of a point in watching the show, you feel like you're learning something, lots of tr...
