I like nearly all styles of music as long as it gives me a good feeling. My favorite kind of music is:

progessive rock/metal- Dream Theater, Saga, Porcupine Tree
jazz rock - Fromuz

Believe it or not: smooth jazz - Spyro Gyra, David Sanborn, Dave Koz

Great stuff! Porcupine Tree is fantastic!

Are you familiar with Fates Warning? They are my #1 all time band, I think I've seen them like 17 times in concert (people either love em or hate em), and their early material was very influential to a young Mike Portnoy and Dream Theater.

I watched O Brother Where Art Thou, and I fell in love. I dig anything bluegrass. The banjo and the harmonica make me IMPOSSIBLY HAPPY.

I love Jason Mraz because I feel like he's my brother that I haven't hugged yet.

My fave fave fave n00b artist is Daniela: http://www.youtube.com/user/DanielaSings She's going to be FAMOUS.
