Conspiracy theory actually coming true about Market Collapse?
I'm usually a little leery of massive conspiracy theories, just because they're so easy to believe and it's mighty tough to disprove them. But with the market fluctuating as much as it has in the last few days, I was reminded of an article I read a few months ago about a closed door session of the House of Representatives, supposedly only the fourth time in our nation that such an event has happened. I copied it and sent it to my friend Rich on May 5th. I still have a copy in my outbox, so I thought I'd share it with you all here.

THIS SESSION WAS ONLY THE FOURTH TIME IN 176 YEARS THAT CONGRESS CLOSED ITS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC
Word has begun leaking from this special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.
Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed:
the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008,
the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009,
the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse,
advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government,
The detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA,
the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,
the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest
the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool), the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.
Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed. Several are so furious and concerned about the future of the country, they have begun leaking info.

Ron Paul warned of "something big" coming this fall publicly and Dennis Kucinich went apeshit over that secret meeting publicly. The government is doing whatever they want and lucky for them its only week 2 in the NFL. The flick 'washington you're fired' shows the laws put into place that make the coming martial law very bad for people with opinions or brains. Watch what you say to authority.
Its all real, I just hope that the collapse is slower than the above description b/c I'm not ready yet for that.
The Alex Jones show gives some straight shooter talk - although too extreme for some - the stuff is all real and he articulates the information very well. Infowars.com or prisonplanet.com
I get the podcasts and listen sometimes. Good info.

Suvine, I don't know what is big. I said DK went apeshit over the secret congressional meeting, which he did. The housing markets are collapsed, banking industry is collapsing, the dollar is being destroyed to bring in the Amero and all of the power is being shifted to an unregulated FED. Record job losses every month. These huge shifts take time to be felt but I guarantee that the times they are a changin...
Watch what happens to the cost of food by christmas from today. Guaranteed. Things in this country are very bad right now financially. Hopefully the people here are financially stable enough to get by and it doesn't get so bad that it effects everyone, but the masses are in trouble. Our government is saying things that completely disregard the facts and state these lies as fact to an unassuming public that doesn't read.
I plan for the worst and hope for the best. Thats all I can do and I can't sit all day and read about corrupt individuals b/c I have to hustle myself to buy food.
Washington you're fired is a documentary that lays out the laws passed by congress and the executive orders and presidential directives that have been passed into LAW since the Bush Admin took office, after 9/11 mostly. Its scary. They can take land, bank accounts, farms, vehicles, everything. Terrorists are defined as people who quote the US Constitution. All that needs to happen is a national emergency and if you take note once a Tropical Storm is named today we are in a state of emergency. Martial Law. Its weird and scary. I read the laws our government passes and the devil is in the details. We are being dumbed down rapidly coupled with these new laws things in the near future look scary if we don't collectively wake up... Soon.

Suspended. The RSF gave me renewed confidence in mankind and at a minimum at least showed me the community I move to will be full of love and "they" say they only want to kill 80% of the population so the beautiful healthy humans on this site should be okay.
I agree we all need to make this good, not by ignoring it but by reacting properly and killing it with kindness.

I'm going to be like the wealthy people in "Soylent Green" eating strawberries while the others had to eat the soylent green wafers, LOL! Why shouldn't we be part of that 20%?
The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule, the law of the vital few and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.
Maybe if most of that 20% are people like us, we can actually quickly change the world- there's a new way to think of it! Their evil plan could (I believe WILL) end up massively backfiring!

this does sound a bit scary
even the Great Depression ended eventually
times change and this is just a time of change
the problem is this country have become spoiled
money isn't everything
I'm glad I can get by with less than some people
I wish I had saved more money in my life

don't civilizations tend to collapse at the height of their decadence? i think the u.s. has a ways to go to get to its peak.
however, to me, such predictions sound like repeats of events that have happened before (does the great depression, world war ii, or guantanamo bay, just to name a few, ring a bell?).
we're smart people. just stay aware.
surely one of us on the site owns a private jet to whisk us all away to an uninhabited island full of vegetation.
