Jumping out of bed in the morning and feeling so good!
Feeling like singing all the time.
Just loving the food I am eating and it loving me back.
Not having any of the usual aches and pains that are associated with getting older.
Eating the most beautiful food on the planet.
Feeling the most wonderful flow of energy and joy .
Caring for children who are full of health and happiness and get none of the usual childhood illnesses.
Sharing my fruit with children and wild creatures.
Wanting to jump for joy, because I feel so well and happy.

Anne, I'm impressed by your post what do you do to feel so great?

For me since I've been eating a cleaner diet and drinking lots of green smoothies I feel great and I don't require much sleep. But I'd like to hear your story.

So let us in on all of your secrets :))

Hi WhoRaw,
I have been on a fruit diet for the past 17 years. I try to eat as much organic, locally grown and wild fruit as I can.
When fruit is your sole source of dietary nutrition, I feel that we need to eat really great quality fruit. I think when you are really drawn to fruit, then it is drawn to you.
When I lived in England, I was part of an organic fruit buying group; so I used to get fab organic fruit from all over the world. Now I live in Australia, I am able to grow some myself and get the majority from small, local growers.

I also find that exercise, good air and positive thoughts are very important.
I eat mono mals, as I find that one has to eat the best quality foods, if they are eaten alone. A piece of fruit has to taste great and stand alone, if it is eaten mono and totally unprocessed.
I have also gone for long periods on mono diets. This may not be the optimum diet for everyone, but it works really well for me.
I did a 6 month Melon diet in 2001. My mental and physical health were excellent during this time. On day 47, I came first in a walking race, out of 4,000 people.
All I can say it works very well for me personally. After 17 years I guess that if I was missing something I would have noticed by now.
I have never broken a bone and my teeth are good (last time I went to the dentist a few months ago, he told me not to come back for a year, instead of the usual 6 months)
Many folk doubt that one can live on fruit for extended periods. It is interesting that the guy who lived exclusively on McDonald's food, in the Supersize Me film, found that his body was breaking down after just a few weeks on an all-burger diet.
I have been on a fruit diet for 17 years, so I do think that if it was not a healthy diet for me my body would have let me know before now.
Have a peachy one.

thanks Anne that's very interesting. I have to do a little research on mono diet, I keep hearing about it and I'm not sure what it is.

I have to ask what does your biggest meal of the day consist of?

for me it is the love of the food i am eating now......i really really look forward to my next meal.....i am eating when i am hungry and what ever takes my fancy at that given moment which is so exhilerating for me AND i have reached what i pressume is my ideal weight as so many people are complementing me at the moment...they don't believe me when i say i have never eaten so much before in my life.......only to some do i then go into detail of the raw concept of food etc....half the time people don't want to really know the how's and why's sadly. I am just loving it all right now....only been 2 months on raw (no detox symptons yet though.......)

Right--it's good in smoothies too. It's a necessity when there's no fruit in there!

In water with a twist of lemon or lime, in teas, in water (with flavored stevia), and with millet or quinoa.

Hi Lizz, I haven't tried yacon; I think it's still too sweet, technically. I believe stevia is truly the only natural sweetener that is not a form of sugar. When I add vanilla flavor and a little coconut oil to the stevia, it's kind of like maple...
